If I select the bottom Delta 1010lt MIDI-> Channel 1 in the output selection, and make the track record ready and hit the xp-60- I can see input on the meter bar, but cannot hear any sound, nor can I change any patches again from ProTools. If I set the output to the top one on Channel 1, and make the track record ready and hit a key on the xp-60- the keyboard locks in a constant note, and there is no ability to change the xp-60's patches through ProTools. On the output under "Predefined->" there are 2 sets of Delta 1010lt MIDI's. In the PTools mix window I have the input on a MIDI track set to Predefined->Delta 1010lt MIDI->all channels. I have set the Local switch to OFF on the xp-60 (in system, in performance, in patch). I have MIDI out from the xp-60 to the MIDI in on the Delta card, and vise-versa- MIDI out from the delta card to the MIDI in on the xp-60. I am running PTools 7.1 M-Powered on WinXP with a Delta 1010lt card, and I would like to record a MIDI track using my Roland XP-60 Synth's sounds. I am not doing something right, please help!
